The platform supports an upgrade from an older ZigiOps V3 to a newer ZigiOps V3. Follow the steps below to upgrade to a more recent release.

Backup the current ZigiOps configuration

  1. Export your connected systems by going to the Connected Systems page, selecting the desired connected system, and clicking the Options > Export button (top-right).

  2. Export your integration templates by going to the Configurator page, selecting the desired integration template(s), and clicking the Options > Export button (top-right).
  3. Back up your licenses from the filesystem.
    • Windows → <ZigiOps>\conf\licenses
    • Linux → <ZigiOps>/conf/licenses

Install the new ZigiOps

  1. Download the latest ZigiOps release provided by our support team.
  2. Stop the current ZigiOps service or process.
  3. Back up the existing installation folder to another location.
  4. Install the new ZigiOps release in the existing installation folder.

    Note that you must uncheck the OS Service option during the installation.

  5. Start the ZigiOps service or process.

Restore the ZigiOps configuration

  1. Stop the ZigiOps service or process.

  2. Restore the previously exported configuration.

    • Restore the licenses by placing the license file(s).
      • Windows → <ZigiOps>\conf\licenses
      • Linux → <ZigiOps>/conf/licenses
  3. Start the ZigiOps service.
  4. Import the previously exported connected systems from the Connected Systems page and click the Add New System > Import button.

    Note that you should retype all passwords and/or tokens after importing the connected systems.

  5. Import the previously exported integration template(s) from the Configurator page and click the Add New Integration > Import button.
  6. Restart the ZigiOps service or process.

Post-Upgrade Steps

  1. Access the ZigiOps web console.

  2. Go to the Connected Systems page and confirm if the test connection is successful.

  3. Go to the Configurator page, select the desired integration template and enable it.

  4. Confirm if the integration is working fine.
