How does the Azure DevOps ServiceNow Integration work?

  1. When there is a new work item in Azure DevOps, ZigiOps will automatically collect it, based on a predefined time interval, and transfer it to ServiceNow as a new incident. All necessary fields will be transformed and also moved to ServiceNow (based on the defined mapping in ZigiOps).

  2. If there is an update on the Azure DevOps work item, ZigiOps will pick it up and populate the corresponding ServiceNow incident with the necessary fields (including comments, attachments).

  3. When the ServiceNow incident is updated or resolved, ZigiOps will update the corresponding Azure DevOps work item with the applicable information or close it accordingly.
