How does the OpsBridge Jira Integration work?

  1. ZigiOps listens for new events in OBM sent through its connected server. When there is a new even in OpsBridge, ZigiOps will automatically collect it, and transfer it to Jira as a new task. All necessary fields will be transformed and also moved to Jira (based on the pre-defined mapping in ZigiOps).

  2. ZigiOps listens for event updates and annotations in OBM. Once there is an update, ZigiOps will pick it up and populate the corresponding Jira task with the necessary fields (comments, attachments, custom fields, and more).

  3. When the Jira task is updated or changed, ZigiOps will transform and update the corresponding event in OpsBridge with the applicable information or close it accordingly.
